they took silver in synchronized diving from the ten-meter
board. Gold went to China with bronze awarded to Russia. The German
men's hockey team also beat hosts China 4:1 in their first game of
the tournament. The Beijing games also have their first doping
case. Spanish cyclist Isabel Moreno tested positive for an illegal
substance and was been banned from participating.
