Русская версияIn Pakistan, a bomb attack on an air force bus has killed 13 people
and injured around a dozen others.
The bus was travelling over a
bridge in the north-western city of Peshawar at the time of the
attack. Provincial officials said the explosion was caused by an
improvised explosive device, planted under the bridge. Pakistan has
been gripped by a wave of militant violence since last year. The
election of a new government in February led to a brief lull in
attacks, before a senior tribal leader ended negotiations with the
government in June.
