In Pakistan, two suspected suicide bombers have attacked a
munitions factory northwest of the capital, Islamabad.
Police said
between 15 and 20 people were killed in the attack and that dozens
were injured. The two blasts appeared to target entrances to the
factory, with one of the bombs hitting a group of employees coming
out of the plant. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
However, Pakistan has been gripped by a wave of pro-Islamist
violence since last year. The military is currently carrying out an
offensive against militants in the country's restive border region
with Afghansitan.
